Referral Policy

In further co-aligning the Uptick business objectives with your business objectives, you can reduce your service costs by participating in our referral program. 

For each customer that you refer and enters into an agreement with Uptick, you will be entitled to an ongoing referral fee.

The referral bonus is calculated as 15% of the referred customer’s monthly fee, not including support, setup or dedicated hosting expenses.

Any referral fees earned from the program will be provided as a discount as part of your existing monthly subscription fee

The referral bonus will be paid from the first month of the referred customer start date and ending 6 months from that start date.

The customer must be cleanly referred, not previously referred by an existing Uptick customer, and not previously in communication with the Uptick team. E.g. An introduction email by the customer of the referred contact. 

The aggregate referral bonus is capped at 50% of your monthly contract price.

As per our contract: 

For each subscriber that Customer refers to Uptick (as determined by Uptick in its absolute discretion) and who enters into a subscription agreement with Uptick, Customer will be entitled to a referral bonus as specified in paragraph (b). 

Subject to the cap specified in paragraph (f), the referral bonus will be calculated as 15% of the referred subscriber's monthly subscription fee received in clear funds from the subscriber (excluding GST and other taxes), and not including support, setup or dedicated hosting fees or expenses. 

The referral bonus will be paid from the first month of the referred subscriber's subscription from the Access Date, and will continue to be paid for the shorter of:

i. 6 months from that start date; and 

ii. the term of the referred subscriber's subscription agreement. 

Any referral bonuses earned from the program will be paid by Uptick to Customer once per month, coinciding with Customer's monthly service fee. Uptick may set off any referral bonuses against Fees payable by Customer to Uptick. 

In order to qualify for a referral bonus, the subscriber who is referred must not be an existing or previous customer of Uptick or have previously been in contact with Uptick (as determined by Uptick in its absolute discretion). 

The aggregate referral bonus which Customer may be paid each month is capped at 50% of Customer's monthly Subscription Fee.
